Angela was one of the artist choosen to warm up the crowd before the Gretchen Wilson concert in Birmingham, AL. The following
is an except from the review article by AngryCountry.com.
Tootsies Orchid Lounge did not forget that women also make up a part of the country scene because next to step onto the
Charter Communications Stage was Angela White who hails from Meridian, Mississippi. She opened with "Good Hearted Woman."
Dressed in a black suit trimmed with lace and beads, Angela brought back what is missing in country music today (and with
the female artists on the scene)... a touch of the past when women were soft and feminine and could bring a cowboy to his
knees with her tender touch on a great country ballad. Angela did just that as she followed with the tunes, "Help Me Make
It Through The Night" and her own version of the Hank Williams, Sr's, "Your Cheatin' Heart."
